Tryfan and The Ogwen Valley

A classic view of Tryfan and the Ogwen Valley from Helyg

I have been a regular visitor to this location which is a short way along the track to the Ffynnon Llugwy Reservoir just west of Helyg and opposite Gwen Gof Isaf farm. From here the view west into the Ogwen Valley opens up to reveal all the major peaks including Tryfan, The Glyders, Y Garn, Foel Goch and Pen-yr-oleu-wen. It was a beautiful autumn morning when I arrived here just before sunrise and I was most fortunate to be able to capture two images, one just after dawn that I have entitled "Ogwen Autumn Dawn", and this one just an hour later.
