I gave this print the simple title of ‘Snowdon Reflections’ simply because that says it all. This image was taken on the last photoshoot that I carried out in Snowdonia when I was using the Canon 5D Mark III and a 24-70mm lens. Once again I had travelled overnight to reach this favoured location on the most perfectly still autumn morning.
Upon my arrival the Llynnau Mymbyr and the mountains beyond were covered in a thin veil of mist which provided the most haunting atmosphere during which I took an earlier image which I have published entitled "Snowdon Morning Mists". It took another hour for the mists to clear and I waited until the moment that sunlight finally struck the buildings of Gors-y-Ceffylau farm in the middle distance to capture this image.
