Many of the traditional landscape format images of The Three Sisters of Glencoe are captured from the old Glencoe road where it rises to a shoulder and cairn known as the Studdie. However, looking for something different I chose to work a panoramic shot that included not only the Three Sisters on the south side of the glen, but also the Aonach Eagach Ridge on the northern side. The viewpoint is beside the infant River Coe half a mile west of its source in the Lochan na Fola beneath the north face of the peak of Buachaille Etive Beag.
