Sunrise on the North-East Face of Masherbrum

Sunrise on the towering ramparts of the striking peak of Masherbum in the Karakoram Himalaya. This peak whose slopes occupy the southern flanking walls of the Baltoro Glacier is best seen in the early morning either from Concordia or from a campsite known as Gore on the moraines of the glacier itself.
