High Street and Haweswater

This was a beautiful morning. I was recently returned from a trip to the Himalayas so was feeling very fit and decided to walk a traverse of Kirsty Pike and High Street ascending via Kirsty Howes and returning by Mardale Ill Bell and the Nan Bield Pass. Having made an early dawn start I was returning just before midday and captured this image looking into Riggindale at the head of the lake from Mardale Banks shortly after picking up the car to return home.
