About This Image ...
When I arrived beside the Llynnau Mymbyr on this very cold and frosty winter morning the lakes were frozen and patchy cloud lay across the major summits. As the rising sun slowly pushed warmth into the air and illuminated the scene in its warm orange light the clouds slowly lifted from the more southerly tops of Y Lliwedd and Yr Wyddfa.
Over the next 30 minutes the cloud slowly but finally lifted from Crib Goch and Crid-y-ddysgl to reveal sparkling white peaks against a rich blue sky. This provided the opportunity to capture yet another image which I called “Winter Snowdon” and is for sale elsewhere on this site.
