Beinn a’Bheithir and Loch Leven

Beinn a'Bheithir is not a single peak but an arc of three fine summits that together are often known as 'The Ballachulish Horseshoe'. The main summit of Sgorr Dhearg, and its neighbour to the west of Sgorr Dhonuill are both Munros; the easterly outlier of Sgorr Bhan, although a fine summit in its own right is not. This image was captured in early morning one day in mid October from the north shore of Loch Leven at fine a fine viewpoint where the loch narrows and which I call Callert Bay.
