Glencoe is probably Scotland’s best known glen; enclosed by the peaks of the Bidean nam Bian massif to the south and the Aonach Eagach ridge to its north, it is a stunning playground for hillwalkers, climbers and mountaineers. In the shadow of the Aonach Eagach the River Coe flows out of the lonely Loch Achtriochtan to a point where it tumbles over a number of very picturesque rocky steps producing a sequence of lovely waterfalls.
