Everest, Lhotse, and Nuptse from Kala Pattar

This is the classic photograph of Everest, overlooking the Khumbu Glacier and Icefall from the summit of Kala Pattar. I captured this one afternoon in December when all around was frozen. I was alone with my cameras and the view of Everest and its attendant peaks before me. Punctuated between periods of frantic activity during which I took as many images as I could, I left myself moments of tranquility to fully appreciate my situation and magniificent surroundings.
