On Location with Mountain Images

I intend this ‘On Location with Mountain Images’ page to provide a selection of short posts and longer articles about my photographic adventures in this country and the longer expeditions to the Himalaya. It is my wish that, over time, the content will grow to become a fairly extensive body of work providing useful information, tips and guidance for other mountaineers and photographers who propose to follow in my footsteps.

The photographic content will include detail on the thought processes involved in the selection of viewpoints and timing of visits. My lengthier expedition reports offer detailed route information and advice on travel in the various countries visited.
